While I was arranging Ella’s photos in her albums, I found this old photographs that I would like to share.

I always claim that Ella looks like me and Donald has no comment with that but we do have a debate as to where does Ella got her eyelashes. That was the issue before when she was born but we came to an agreement that she got her Daddy’s curly lashes while she got mine’s long lashes. Well at least, she got something from her Dad. :lol: Now Donald was looking forward to meet his second child and keeps on saying this one would look like him.

Anyhoo, there’s nothing much going on today except that this day marks the day when Ella first tasted dried fish. When she learned to eat solid foods, she was into Cerelac and some mashed vegetables. When she was two, she fell in love with Silver Swan Soy Sauce. Each time we give her rice, she would ask for this. To balance her nutritional needs, we just give her milk every meal and in between each time she asks. Then at three until four, she could only take fish and soup in her rice. When there would be other dish other than fish or soup, she would ask for soy sauce. I always feel like pulling my hair but I was very thankful when she turned 5, everything changed. At last the phase of being a picky-eater is finally over and she’s not hard to feed anymore. Although still her favorite is fish (she’s not much into meats), she eats vegetables like a goat.

So today, when we had dried fish, I asked her if she wanted to try it and she said yes. She is not a baby anymore and though I do ask where did the time go, I am happy that she’s growing up healthy and plump but I am watching her diet so we won’t be needing Apidexin someday.
