When Donald decided that he called me from the mall that he’s buying a digital camera almost 10 months ago, I was hysterical. I literally mean it. I was almost yelling on the phone that if he’d buy one, I am declaring World War III but he never ever took it seriously and found it cute how I tried to threat him. He wanted it so badly and he’s been dying to have one long before but we just can’t afford it. So when he sold his piece of lot, part of the money went to his Sony DSC-W80.
It was not the best digital camera because there are more cameras with better features but he was over the moon when he finally take a hold of it. for him, it was his prized possesion. Well, I am not against of the idea of owning a camera because I love taking pictures of Ella but I was thinking about the money spent towards it. We have an Olympus analog camera before Ella was born. Since it was pre-owned when we got it from a garage sale, it slowly died after Ella’s 3rd birthday. So when Ella was 3 until she turned 4, there was no pictures of her except during special occassions where there was a professional photographer, someone has a camera or just a shot from the celphone camera.
Having a digital camera is really convenient. No more hassles on running out of film and no more regrets on the wasted money in printing bad pictures. With digital camera, you can download and view full size digital photos in your laptop or your LCD TV and enjoy the quality of high definition of your pictures. Now that we are expecting baby #2 and with Ella whose growth spurt is unbelievable, I was thankful that Donald didn’t listen when I was about to declare war because we can keep the memories in a paper using our camera.

I couldn’t live without a camera! (Well, I could… But you know what I mean *lol*) … Mine is an Olympus, but I dream of getting a Canon Digital Rebel someday….
