Fun day
As I mentioned on my last post, I will be making some more improvement on my blog and I hope I did it better with this new theme. I was hoping for a total make over
But I only have a few downloaded themes to choose from. I have found some nice ones but have to send it to my sister Kerslyn for her to upload it and send it back to me. Maybe in a few more days I can finalize my theme….my fourth theme.
Today we spent the day having fun. First thing in the morning, Donald checked our eon account and our earnings from OHJ has been sent so after Ella’s class we all headed to the market. Poor us….we weren’t able to see the world for two weeks now since our earnings was delayed for a couple of weeks. We had a brunch at The Resto, the only snack house which serves burgers, pasta, halo-halo and combo meals. Ella and I both had cheese burgers while Donald had a platter of rice, chicken, pansit miki, banana cake and shrimp fries (their own version of Chowking Lauriat)
As usual Ella only ate the bun
This is why when she asks for burger, we just buy her a plain bread because the beef patty, cheese and anything else in it will be thrown on my plate and I end up having the biggest and fattest burger there. Read the rest of this entry »
My blog has been reviewed!
Yes you read it right, my blog has been reviewed by Shen, the author of The Blog Reviewer. I came across a blog which he has reviewed, I am not sure when but I was very interested about it so I left a personal message asking him to review mine. And surprisingly he did! Here’s his complete blog review of my blog.
Ella’s School ID’s
Early this morning, the cellphone rang. I asked Donald if it was SOS message from OHJ staff, he nodded and went back to sleep. Whenever we receive SOS message, I could not disregard it so even half asleep I jumped out of bed and started the pc. Who could resist an SOS message when we are barely able to work 4 hours a day for a week now? When I got online and was invited in the voice conference, the queue is only 16 and I just told myself maybe it went down that fast. So I stayed there and in no time I was asked to log in. When Donald was finally in his own self…totally awake, he asked me why I am so early to work. I told him because we received an SOS message which he read, and his eyes went rolling like this
The celfone rang because of the alarm clock!!!!! Oh bummer!!!! At least I have worked for almost 3 hours already and I only need to work more than an hour more tonight.

Camera Critters: Butterfly

For my first entry to this awesome meme, here’s a huge butterfly taken last July 22. My husband saw it in the coconut tree while we are doing the laundry one morning. We are flabbergasted by its size! The one wing itself is bigger than my hand. At night it flew inside the house and rested on the curtain above the sink.

Blessed Sunday
It is Sunday once again. I really wonder how time flies so fast. I have pressed our Sunday dresses last night while we watch tv so I have much time in the morning. Donald was already dressed while I and Ella are still trying to wake our body systems
At our Children’s Class, Ella and other kids could not almost believe how Moses divided the sea. If I was not holding a Children’s Bible Story Book, they will really wonder if I was only making up story so they won’t get bored.
I was just glad I have not read the story to Ella during our reading time, if not she could have ruined the whole drama of the story. Read the rest of this entry »
Scenic Sunday: Davao’s Pride
I saw a wonderful meme called Scenic Sunday at my sister Kerslyn’s blog and I decided to join to add spice to my little bit boring blog.
So here’s my first entry. A photo of The Marco Polo Hotel in Davao City which was taken last month when we went there for my monthly doctor’s appointment.
Have a blessed Sunday everyone! Please check out the rest of the entries here.
Ice cream please!
It should be my favorite day and we ought to be in the market this morning but our earnings from OHJ will be sent on the 15th so we decided to skip the Market Day. Even last Wednesday that is supposed to be our grocery day was spent idly at home. No ukay-ukay for now. We have to tighten our belts because our coming earnings on the 15th will just be enough for electric bill, food and Ella’s tuition fee. Hopefully we can work 8 hours a day like before so we can have some extras to indulge ourselves for some ice cream. I honestly could live without it before. I’d rather choose spaghetti over ice cream but now I crave for it. My taste is so blunt that I am craving for sour, salty and sweet foods and I wanted ice cream so so so so bad! I want Magnolia ice cream. Just the plain one, no nuts! Read the rest of this entry »
The perfect motivation for a 5-year-old
Woke up too weak to move. Stayed in bed until Ella left for school and was still under the covers when she was back. Yesterday she made Donald angry when he went to pick her up to school and she was still there writing, the last to finish I think. Like what the teacher always say, she write very well but she is such a talkative girl. So yesterday while the others are copying what the teacher has written on the board, Ella was busy talking to her seatmate. When the time to dismiss the class, she was still halfway through it. Tambay
For days now we could not work in OHJ on our regular 8 hours shift. The queue has been very minimal and IT people said it could go on for days so OHJ personnel, shift leaders and coders did some adjustments. The coders can work for 4 hours maximum each day to give everyone a chance. The other coders who does not have a shift at that given time who wanted to work needs to be on the chat conference when they are waiting for their turn. The shift leader, when there is a need to add a coder, will call the first coder on the list of TAMBAY (waiting mode). When you leave the conference for any reason (even power interruption) for a maximum of 10 minutes, you will go back to the bottom of the list of TAMBAY. Some complained but we could not do anything about it. Read the rest of this entry »
