Lazy day

When I say lazy, I really mean it.

Donald and Ella went to watch the street parade and the showdown at the High School grounds. They are asking me to come but I just could not get my lazy butt off the bed. I feel tired today (well, I feel that E.V.E.R.Y.D.A.Y.) and I can’t tolerate standing under the heat of the sun for an hour or so. After I kissed Ella, I sent her off with Donald with an umbrella. She prepared for this event so she has her water and chocolates in her pocket. Then I went back to bed feeling a lot worst than ever.

They came back earlier than I expected. I think they are only gone for an hour and they brought home doughnuts for me. Ella did enjoy the parade and kept on asking Donald if she will be like them when she gets bigger. A playmate taught her how to hold a baton and she can does it very well.

Donald prepared “tinolang manok” (chicken stew). Some recipe have chili leaves and young papaya or you could put malunggay (ben oil tree) and sayote (cucurbit) instead. You could also either put ginger, lemon grass or both for added flavor. Today, Donald didn’t put ginger since I loathe that stupid smelling thing when I became pregnant. He put “malunggay” and “sayote” and it was the BEST I ever tasted! He has been cooking this dish for a long time but this one was the best among them all. I am sorry I wasn’t able tot ake a picture of it.

We will be going to Davao City tomorrow to see my doctors. I was late for my schedule 2 weeks now, but it is better late than never ;-) So have to go, got to do some packing, finding the best cure for acne and then lights off.

I hope you can find some energy soon… It usually gets better after the 1st trimester is over… But then the 3rd trimester comes and you get drained again, because it’s so hard to sleep. *lol*

Can’t wait to hear how you’re doctor’s appointment goes!
