It should be my favorite day and we ought to be in the market this morning but our earnings from OHJ will be sent on the 15th so we decided to skip the Market Day. Even last Wednesday that is supposed to be our grocery day was spent idly at home. No ukay-ukay for now. We have to tighten our belts because our coming earnings on the 15th will just be enough for electric bill, food and Ella’s tuition fee. Hopefully we can work 8 hours a day like before so we can have some extras to indulge ourselves for some ice cream. I honestly could live without it before. I’d rather choose spaghetti over ice cream but now I crave for it. My taste is so blunt that I am craving for sour, salty and sweet foods and I wanted ice cream so so so so bad! I want Magnolia ice cream. Just the plain one, no nuts!
I would love to have these flavors! The macapuno and Mais Quezo (Corn cheese). But hey, even if we do have money to get these we could not find a store that sells these flavors here in town. This is the good thing living in a small town three hour drive from the big city of Davao.
Ella has been good and improving. She does what we asked her to do without a fuss. She can be relied upon on some chores and she naps beside me each afternoon without me having to get a switch. For a week she carries the fan inside the room and lie in bed counting numbers until she fell asleep. The first time she did that, I was here infront of my pc while she was counting 44…45…46…47…48…49…50…and when I turned around she was asleep. From that day on I call her every nap time to count and there has been no problem since.

None of my kids take naps anymore… They all stopped when they were 2 to 2 1/2 years old. I guess they sleep too long at night to need a nap.
Boy, ice cream sure sounds good!
