If there are people out there who have not heard of Charisse Pempengco and for those who wanted to see her video over and over like me, I am doing this post for you all. Charisse is a 16 year old girl from the Philippines who have made all Filipinos very proud. She worked her way to fame after winning singing contests here in our country. She has guested in Ellen Degeneres and Oprah Shows. And now her latest shining moment was to be invited by Celine Dion to her concert at Madison Square Garden where they sang duet of Because You Loved Me, a song dedicated to Charisse’s Mom. Although I liked more the songs that she sang in Ellen Degeneres, Oprah and other shows (where she did power belting because of course the songs demands), this one is a little bit “calm” and “sweet” song but still made me shiver down to my spine with awe and pride. She has such a gift of voice that could “literally blow off the roof of Madison Square Garden” as said by the great Celine before their duet.

Just saw her on tv here in Australia , what an awesome voice ! This young lady has star quality , I hope she does very well , and she handles herself very well for one so young .
