I know that things are different in our countries, but here it is too dangerous to let a 5 year old walk out by themselves. Too many pedifiles. :( Too many little kids getting kidnapped. I think I would have a hard time letting Jared walk to school alone (you know, if he went to public school and it wasn't 6 1/2 miles away *lol* ... Our kids would actually have to take the school bus here, because we live so far out of town).
