I have not done much today. I suppose I would do the laundry again tonight. I did some last night, just a few pairs. I wanted to wash everything but then Donald was in protest. He didn’t feel like hanging clothes in the middle of the night. That is his part during laundry day and I really appreciate him doing that because it will take me a lifetime if I was to do that. I wanted everything in order, the size and color and even the distance between should be uniform. But Donald, a sanguine as he is, doesn’t care about these things and finishes the job in lightning. I should still be reminding him almost all the time to put the colored ones on the shade to prevent from fading. Again as sanguine as he is, he always forgets. But there is one great thing about his being forgetful, I can tell stories over and over again and was still amazed by it.
Well, there is always a big difference between couples. Before we got married, we attended a workshop in our church called “Choosing your Mate in God’s Way”. It was organized by our missionary workers from the US and we did enjoy every moment. We took the personality test and I was a bit shocked about the result. I have taken the test in high school and I can’t believe I have changed in 5 years. I was sanguine before and when I looked at the result, I am choleric! Donald is obviously sanguine. We we’re lucky to have known our personality types which really helped us having to live with a total stranger. But Mother Prissy (one of the organizers) knew about my personality type all along (I don’t know how she was able to know). Before the workshop had started, there are few young people whom they asked to help out during the preparation. I was the one of them with Donald, Archie, Ate Rose and her three children Holly, Hope and Sean. Mother Prissy gave me a task and let me work ALONE in the workroom and I appreciate it so much. I tend to be distracted by noise and wanted to do it alone. While the rest, except Holly who had a task alone also and a choleric too, were in the auditorium blowing balloons and decorating the hall. Guess what? They are all sanguine! They were all laughing and playing while working and I wonder how they were able to finish their task.
I don’t know if it was also a part of being choleric but I can not stand surprises and the like. During the preparation, they played a joke on me. We were all in the workroom for the merienda when Holly began calling one after another to tell a SECRET. Moments later everybody has been called except me. So I asked Holly what was it all about and everyone looked at each other and just smiled. I went around asking what the secret is and they will just say I will know about it later. When I began telling them I could not stand to wait any much longer guessing what it might be, Holly confessed there was really no secret to be told. She just want to see my reaction on the situation :-) Even Donald has learned that I should not be told that he has a present for me. That he must not show his present until it was about time to open it. When Ella was one, Donald wrapped a gift for me which he said be opened on New Year’s Eve. I kept on asking him what’s inside but of course why would he tell me anyway? To pacify me, he gave me a hint and my head was in circles. I kept on guessing but he just shrugs then laughs out real loud. I was beginning to get annoyed. I still have to wait 4 days and I hate waiting while guessing!!!! That night I waited for him to sleep, tiptoed in the living room and carefully opened the box. Inside was a nice pair of slippers and underwears :-) How on earth will he give me underwears when I still have more to put on? I was trying to keep from him that I did peek in the box but I couldn’t. When he woke up, I asked him if he was not ashamed of buying undies. His eyes were like the size of a ping pong ball in disbelief and tickled me to death. I am not to blame because I warned him that I could not stand surprises
But I tell you, I am trying to be good now…. I am learning to exercise my imagination when I am into that situation and it works.

I can’t wait any much longer for us to move. Hope there will be good news tomorrow. We are waiting for three weeks now. Everything has been packed and I am starting to get annoyed. Yesterday I had slept 8 in the morning and Ella woke me up at 8 in the evening. So last night, I tried all my might to sleep early and I did at 2 a.m.
But guess what? My body refuses to cooperate when I tried dragging myself infront of the pc. I still have to do the laundry and am crossing my fingers that I can get myself on it tomorrow. We had tinolang manok for dinner and I tried to eat more than I can manage. I wanted to gain weight so badly.
The other day I got to chat with my friend Jennefer. We are partners-in-crime way back in high school doing all the silliness that you could not imagine. We parted ways in college and later on had our own families. We had no communication for several months and was very happy to hear from her. Not exactly happy about what I have heard but I was glad to see her face on cam. I was thinking about her since then and worry so much about the trial she’s undertaking in her married life right now. I could not go into detail to protect her privacy so I will leave it up for your imagination.

Thanks to my sister Crislyn. I was blog hopping when I got across the same tag and wanted to snag it. But when I got to my sister’s blog, I was a bit surprised and excited to see I have been tagged by her.
Time to reminisce my high school life. Truly, it was the most colorful and most exciting in all the years I spent in school.
THINK BACK TO 4th year high school… Let’s see how much I remember and how much I regret..
What section were you?
I belong to the 1st section (4-1) Science Curriculum.
Who were your seatmates?
Only Jennette (our valedictorian) because I was seated next to the window.
Still remember your english teacher?
We had no english subject but we had journalism instead and was handled by Prof. Epifania S. Bose (I actually had written a story about her)
What was your first class?
We just had an introduction about the subject.
Made friends to the lower years?
Yes
How was your class schedule?
I hate it because on our 4th year we had a M-W-F; T-Th schedule instead of the usual daily schedule. I always brought the wrong binder for my notes!
Made any enemies?
Yes..the bully who later became my friend and discovered he got a crush on me
Who was your favorite teacher???
Prof. Epifania S. Bose
What sport did you play?
Table tennis
Were you a party animal?
We don’t have parties way back in high school. Poor guys
Were you well known in your school?
They say YES
SKIP CLASSES?
Yes I skipped with the whole class! We roasted a pig during one of my classmate’s birthday.
Did you get suspended/expelled?
No, but we all get punished.
Can you sing the alma mater?
We don’t have any.
What was your favorite subject?
Journalism of course
Did you go to the dances?
I just got to join the prom. There’s no such thing as dance parties here.
Where did you go most often during breaks?
I often go to the canteen to get a snack then stay on the lobby to have a chat.
What did you do on the last day of school?
Had fun with the whole class.
I’m passing this meme to Jana, Julie, Sasha, Mommy Reese, Honney, Julia and Beverly.

March 24
Yesterday at 3 a.m. Donald found me still infront of my pc getting more and more addicted to this thing. He was annoyed seeing me wide awake and told me to go to bed. I refused thinking that if I’d go to sleep I may not be awake at 6 a.m. to catch the 1st trip to Kabacan. He is much concerned about my weight loss. I had this problem of easily loosing appetite when so much engrossed in something, lack of sleep and stress. For just a couple of week, my weight has gotten from 45kgs down to 42kgs.
At 6 a.m. I started to get dressed then had some things packed that we might be needing there. I woke up Donald and then Ella, get them ready and by 7 a.m. we are off to the terminal. We waited for 2 hours for the puv (public utility van), there is not much people travelling and we should wait for the seats to be filled. Ella is irritated and began fussing around. We are very sleepy since Ella and Donald was up watching a movie until 3 a.m. Ella had slept on the way, Donald had also took a nap. When we arrived at Kabacan, we went straight to my cousin’s place and had lunch at past 1p.m. Ella had the drawing she made for my cousin Sherwin and put it in his casket. The picture of it was posted in Ella’s blog. I had a brief talk with Aunt Lenny (Sherwin’s mom). A neighbor found his body with a note on his hand. There was also a note in the calendar saying how much he loved his family and asked for forgiveness of all that he had done. He also encircled the date 17 on the calendar, the day he ended his life.
In the evening, people started pouring in. It was the last night of the wake. I had slept in the afternoon and I thought I could stay awake the whole night until morning. I just thought I could do that…but what I did was sleep again with Ella and other 4 cousins in just a twin bed.
March 25
I woke up still feeling sore. I was feeling this way since yesterday. We started getting ready for the devotional and necrological service which started at 8:30. The cousins were all in the other side and we sang Sherwin’s favorite songs ( a little bit off key because everyone is crying ).

March 26
It’s still dark when I woke up. It was still 3:30 am on my phone’s clock. Ella was also awakened by a dream. She dreamed about my mother and we talked for awhile. She had gone back to sleep in a moment and I started playing on my celphone. Before 6 am I went straight to my mother’s grave beside my grandparent’s lot. The weeds were all over and the plants are barely surviving. I pulled the weeds and fixed the potted plants. Before 9 am I was done. I then went to my Aunt Emy’s house to help prepare for a thanksgiving dinner tonight (two of my cousin’s kids are graduating from elementary today). I am always on call for flower arrangements and hall preparation. I was right again, I made bouquets for the teachers and helped mix the salad for tonight. Before lunch I went back to my grandparents house and laid my back on the floor. It hurts again. My cousin Sherwin always massaged my back and now he’s gone I would miss his magic touch. Donald brought me lunch. I found a reader’s digest magazine and was engrossed on it until I had dozed off to sleep.

It was raining when I woke up by my Aunt Letty’s call ( you see I have 10 pairs of aunts and uncles ), they are looking for me to do final touches of the hall. Donald was there fixing the banner so I just stood there giving orders
The rain hadn’t stopped and the visitors started to arrive. It was a busy day indeed but I enjoyed the company of my cousins. Only a few cousins, nephew and nieces are in the photo. If we are all going to pose for a portrait, there will be at least 3 batches or so (we would not fit in the lense *lol).
March 27
Feeling much fatigue from yesterday’s weeding on my mother’s grave. Donald gave me a massage. Everyone was going about their own activites but I still would want to sleep. I did not eat breakfast and lunch. I just laid in bed waiting for my body to gather strength to go to the bathroom and prepare to go back to Davao. It was already past 4 pm when we headed for the terminal. We took a bus instead of puv. I felt very hungry on the way and I could not let Donald buy me something to eat since Ella was spread across our laps. It was 9 pm when we get here in my sister’s place. The dogs waggled their tails upon seeing Ella. I wanted to post for my blog right away but checked other blogs instead.
March 28
I was up until 4am this morning. When I was about to sleep, I felt hungry again so I had an early breakfast before finally going to bed. When I woke up, it was raining and dark, I checked the time and it was already 5pm! Whew! What a lazy day it is…..

I was working with my blog for a couple of weeks now. Although I like my previous theme, I finally decided to have it changed. I had problems with the background and the widgets. I changed the widget codes just to make everything fit but still it doesn’t look good. Blame it all on the blinkies!
I have collected a thousand blinkies on my album. My body clock has been changed. Since last week, I was up the whole night. Got to sleep at 7:00 a.m. and be back infront of the computer after just a 5 hour sleep. I suppose my body feels like being there on the other side of the earth. I just hope after our short vacation from Kabacan ( my cousin’s funeral will be on tuesday) will get me back to my old routine. I hope too I could sneak to do my blog updating there.
Oh by the way, we had unexpected visitors last friday afternoon. While doing my usual browsing, I heard Donald greet them and I thought Donald is just fooling us around. ( He’s good with that
I did not even hear somebody knock at the door. Well, how would they be knocking door with just two feet and have no hands?

Ella was very happy to see those chicken. She is soooo fond of animals and she has not played with kids for a number of days. She could only play with humans everytime we bring her to Wonderland. She plays with the dogs and a cat and this little fellas excited her so much. At least for a change. She was so happy and was jumping and yelling ” Sige, lutuin natin!!! I-fried chicken natin!!!” (Come on, let’s cook fried chicken!!!) I could not just imagine how tiny that fried chicken must be. They have just barely grew their feathers and trying to see the beauty of the world, maybe ran away from home dreading what being a certified chicken may bring them. They might end up the mother of threir brood or end up as the star of “tinolang manok” (chicken soup). Ella was convinced to let them go and they are just so lucky to get out of here alive.
I was smiling all along of the thought of my rudeness with chicks back then. I can’t remember exactly how old I was, all I can remember is there were a dozen neighbor’s chicks marching around our yard with their mama hen. I was playing alone when suddenly the light bulb over my head sounded “ting!”. I grabbed all of them and put inside a small box. They were sooo cute in their yellow “feathered uniform”. I did not know why the devil made me peel off their feathers on their tiny-skinny legs and a little while they all had bare-pinkish legs! I tied their legs one by one on a calamansi tree. I was very fascinated to see them on the branches like christmas lights ( Just imagine their chirps that made it really look like musical christmas lights ) It was really gross! I didn’t get near chicks anymore since then (or they didn’t dare come across my way ). I was just so happy Ella has no dark thoughts as I had.
As I was about to publish this post, I looked for the “tag” space at the bottom and found out I have written on the “write page”. I was making this fast because of this backpain. At least copying and pasting won’t consume so much of my time. Thanks for the chicks, the thought of them made me smile still.

I was tagged by Arlene and was grateful that I have something to post since I was busy the whole time hunting blinkies
This must have been an “easy-to-do” tag but I was left thinking what are my wishes and to make it worst, I was wishing I had some wishes :-) This must have been due to becoming so blogaholic. I finally made up my mind and came up with three wishes which I would like to share with you.

Now am passing this blank “wish on a star” image for you to post your wishes on too.
I am tagging along Sasha, Julie, Constance, Mylene and Mitch.
